1.7 The description of device permission invocation
The following device permissions may be triggered when you use the services provided by ShowSee. In order to better manage your information for you, we will inform you of the purpose of using this permission when applying for permission in the process of product use. If you do not enable this permission, you may be affected to use the service. Please check it carefully. Before using the specific function, you can choose whether to grant the following permissions. Meanwhile, you can change the authorization status at any time on the device Permission Settings page.

1.7.1 Read/ Write External Storage Space: Used to read and write photos and files on the device for scanning and user feedback.
1.7.2 Location Permission: Used to scan the nearby WLAN list and search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
1.7.3 Camera Permission: Used to scan qr codes for device installation and account login.
1.7.4 Read Phone Permission: Used to generate device IDS on the client and quickly contact after-sales phone numbers.
1.7.5 WLAN Permission: Used to connect to the WIFI provided by the device for device communication.
1.7.6 Bluetooth Permission: It is used to connect the Bluetooth signal sent by the device for device communication during fast connection. For smart devices connected via Bluetooth, Bluetooth permission is also required for communication.
1.7.7 NFC Permission: Used for fast connection to the NFC for device communication.
To the extent permitted by law, we also obtain relevant data from public and commercial third-party sources, such as purchasing statistics from other companies and obtaining order data from third party e-commerce platforms to support our services. The activation process requires device information, including the MAC address, machine code, and WIFI password. If the activation fails, we may read related device information and log information to evaluate the cause of the activation failure. At the same time, you may need to use information such as username/ password to control your connected devices.
(4) To provide location-based services. When using certain services, we and the third party service provider may use location information to provide you with the correct version of the service and better user experience, such as using your location to learn about the nearest warehouse and estimate the delivery time, and ensuring the normal implementation of equipment functions by using different procedures in different altitude.
(5) Send the products and services you might be interested information for you, including but not limited to invite you to participate in ShowSee activities (such as promotions), market research or satisfaction survey, or send you marketing information, such as your participation in a lottery, competition or similar promotion, we will use the information you provide to manage such activities. If you win, you may desensitize your mobile phone number or nickname to write it into the winning list and announce it. If the event is jointly promoted by us and third parties, we may share with them the personal information generated during the event which is necessary to complete the event (including the number of users participating in the event, the winning list, the winner contact information), so that third parties can distribute prizes or provide services to you in a timely manner.
